Cancellations and Refunds
Your booking is secure (until the balance due date) upon payment of a non-refundable deposit. The balance is due on the date specified on the event page.
You will receive an email reminder approximately one week prior to the balance due date with a link to complete the payment. If you fail to complete the balance payment and you do not contact us to request an extension, your place is no longer secure and we may offer it to someone on the waiting list.
Deposits and Bookings for In-Person Events
Cancellations and Refunds for In-Person and Online Events
For Online Meetings and Programs, we generally do not have a cancellation policy. If you are unable to attend live for any or all of the sessions, you will receive access to the audio and video recordings. There are no refunds possible.
For In-Person Events, deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you have paid the full fee for the event and need to cancel your place for personal reasons or unforeseen circumstances (such as illness, injury or family emergency), you will be refunded according to the cancellation policy specific to each event. We strongly recommend that you take out your own insurance in case of cancellation to cover travel, accommodation and such expenses outside of the course itself. As a small organization we are unable to cover these costs on your behalf. Please read carefully the cancellation policy on the page for each specific in-person event.
For the Community Membership, your monthly or yearly subscription will renew automatically unless you cancel your membership. There are no refunds possible once a payment has been made. Full details of the Terms & Conditions for the Community Membership are shown on the Community Membership page on the website.
The Amoda Maa Teachings reserves the right to cancel any event for reasons which are beyond our control, including insufficient attendee registration or an unexpected travel ban. In this case, your event fee will be transferred to an Online Retreat (to replace the in-person retreat) and the balance refunded. If we are unable to offer an online retreat, the full amount will be refunded. Every endeavour will be made to inform you of this at least one week prior to the event.
We cannot accept responsibility for accident or loss experiences by attendees at any of our events, although all reasonable efforts to ensure safety and enjoyment will be made.
