Terms and Conditions
Code of Conduct
All our In Person Events are recreational drug-free. If you have a pre-existing medical or psychological condition, please inform us before making a registration. We also recommend you seek advice from your doctor/therapist before attending an event.
We reserve the right to ask an attendee to leave the event, if we feel there is a risk posed to him/herself or to any other attendee. We request all attendees to conduct themselves with courtesy, respect and kindness. This is also applicable to Online Events.
Audio and Video Recordings
All Online and Livestream Events are recorded and you will have access to these recordings. Both audio and video recordings will be available to listen/watch by streaming for 30 days after the end of the event.
For the Community Membership, 60-day access to audio and video recordings will be available for the duration of your membership. The audio recordings will be downloadable.
All recordings are for your personal use only and not to be shared or sold to any other parties.
Filming, Photography, and Video Recordings at In-Person and Online Events
In-Person Events: We reserve the right to take photographs or make videos and recordings. The filming and recording of such events may be shared on social media platforms in order make Amoda’s teachings available to a wider audience. In booking to attend such an event you are deemed to consent automatically to your image, whether still, video and/or recorded, being shared as we see fit, although your identity will not be disclosed. If you do not wish to be included in any photograph or recording, you must let us know at the start of the event.
We request that you do not make any audio, video or photographic recording for your own purposes or for sharing without requesting our permission.
Online Events: Excerpts of Amoda’s discourse from these events are usually released on her YouTube channel in order to share the teachings with a wider audience. Occasionally, an interaction with a participant is shared in the video excerpt. By participating in these events, you automatically grant permission for us to share this interaction, although your identity will not be disclosed. If you do not wish to have your interaction with Amoda released as a video clip, please let us know by writing to us at admin@amodamaa.com
Disclaimer
Our online and in-person events are open to all who are interested and inspired by Amoda Maa’s message and teachings. Whilst the teachings provide a safe and supportive environment for guidance on the spiritual path to self-realization and the living of this recognition in everyday life, we are not qualified to give medical or mental health advice. Occasionally, being in the environment of intense introspection (especially at in-person events) can exacerbate a pre-existing mental health condition. If you think you have a pre-existing mental health condition—and especially if you are taking prescription medication for this condition—we advise that you seek professional treatment or therapy as the teachings are not a substitute for this.
The teachings are for educational purposes only and are not intended to give instructions on how to live your life. As such, we do not take responsibility for your actions.
